Beaphar FIPROtec Combo Spot-On Solution for Cats - 3 Pipettes

This dual-action flea treatment for cats is a veterinary medicine, available without prescription, that kills fleas and ticks, and prevents flea eggs and larvae from developing in your home. For continuous protection, reapply every 4 weeks. 

Suitable for cats from 8 weeks of age and weighing more than 1kg. 

Beaphar FIPROtec Combo will protect your cat and home from fleas. However, if your cat already has fleas the following steps will help you get on top of it.

  1. Treat all pets in the family with a suitable flea treatment
  2. Reapply treatments at the label-recommended interval - Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO can be repeated every 4 weeks
  3. Vacuum floors and soft furnishings and wash pet’s bedding at 60°C on a regular basis
  4. Treat the house with a long-lasting household flea spray, such as Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray
  5. Worm pets regularly as fleas can carry and transmit tapeworm, check out Beaphar WORMclear® range

Use medicines responsibly. Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO contains fipronil and S-methoprene AVM-GSL.

Indicated for:

  • Treatment of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). Insecticidal efficacy against new infestations with adult fleas persists for 4 weeks
  • Prevention of the multiplication of fleas by inhibiting the development of eggs, larvae and pupae originating from eggs laid by adult fleas for six weeks after application
  • Treatment of ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The product has a persistent acaricidal efficacy for up to 2 weeks against ticks
  • Treatment of biting lice (Felicola subrostratus)

Do not use on kittens less than 8 weeks old and/or weighing less than 1kg. Do not use on sick (e.g. systemic diseases, fever) or convalescent animals. Do not use if your cat has a hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients. Do not use in rabbits, as adverse drug reactions with even mortality could occur. Do not use in any other non-target species.

Ingredients: Fipronil 50mg, S-methoprene 60mg 

Always use as directed:

  • For external use only. Avoid contact with the animal's eyes.
  • It is important to make sure that the product is applied to an area where the animal cannot lick it off and to make sure that animals do not lick each other following treatment.
  • When treating infestations of parasites, all in-contact animals should be treated with an appropriate product at the same time.
  • Fleas from pets often infest the animal's basket, bedding and regular resting areas such as carpets and soft furnishings which should be treated, in case of massive infestation and at the beginning of the control measures, with a suitable insecticide and vacuumed regularly.
  • Bathing and/or shampooing should be avoided.
  • No information on the effect of bathing or the use of a shampoo on the effectiveness of the product in cats is available.
  • Based on information available for dogs, bathing/immersion in water within 2 days after application of the product and more frequent bathing than once a week should be avoided.

Avoid uses on:

  • Do not use on kittens less than 8 weeks old and/or weighing less than 1kg.
  • Do not use on sick (e.g. systemic diseases, fever) or convalescent animals.
  • Do not use if your cat has a hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients.
  • Do not use in rabbits, as adverse drug reactions with even mortality could occur. Do not use in any other non-target species.

Instructions:

Do not remove the pipette from the sachet until you are ready to use the product.

Weigh your cat carefully before application to ensure they weigh 1kg or more.

  1. Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist and pull the cap off.
  2. Turn the cap over and use the other side to break the pipette seal by pushing down and twisting the cap.
  3. Part your cat’s fur between the shoulder blades and place the tip of the pipette onto the skin.
  4. Squeeze the pipette several times to empty its contents completely and directly onto the skin.

Do not allow children to play with your pet until the fur is fully dry.

For continuous protection, reapply every four weeks.
