The Beaphar Care+ Small Animal Range uses an extruded, all-in-one formulation to ensure each food pellet contains the same composition and prevent selective feeding. This means no food is wasted and everything is eaten.

Beaphar Care+ is hardened to support the natural wearing of the teeth, thus reducing the risk of dental problems.

The recipe combines a balanced ratio of fibre and high-quality, digestible vegetable proteins and zero added sugars to ensure it is perfectly adapted to meet an older rabbit's nutritional requirements.

In addition, Beaphar Care+ Senior Rabbit contains antioxidants such as Vitamin E, Omega 3 and 6, green tea extract and spirulina to support the immune system, prebiotics MOS and FOS to support healthy gut flora, and Yucca schidigera extract to reduce the smell of pets’ faeces.

Feeding Guide:

When changing your rabbit onto a new food it is important to do this gradually. Over a few days mix some old food in with Beaphar Care+ Rabbit Senior to avoid causing any intestinal disturbance.

The required amount of Beaphar Care+ is dependent upon the size and weight of your rabbit. The information below is a guide and may need to be adjusted to suit your rabbit’s requirements.

  • Rabbits weighing 1-2kg: Feed 20-40g of food over 24 hours
  • Rabbits weighing 2-3kg: Feed 40-60g of food over 24 hours
  • Rabbits weighing 3-5kg: Feed 60-100g of food over 24 hours
  • Rabbits weighing 5-8kg: Feed 100-160g of food over 24 hours
  • Rabbits weighing 8-10kg: Feed 160-200g of food over 24 hours

After 24 hours, any uneaten food should be disposed of. Fresh drinking water should always be provided and rabbits should have unlimited access to hay.
