Beaphar Care+ Junior Rabbit Food 1.5kg

With smaller pellets, young rabbits are able to eat this premium food with ease. Containing increased calcium and protein, added Vitamin A and D for growth and development, and a high fibre content of 25% to support optimal digestion.

The Beaphar Care+ Small Animal Range uses an extruded, all-in-one formulation to ensure each food pellet contains the same composition and prevent selective feeding. This means no food is wasted and everything is eaten.

Beaphar Care+ is hardened to support the natural wearing of the teeth, thus reducing the risk of dental problems.

The recipe combines a balanced ratio of fibre and high-quality, digestible vegetable proteins and zero added sugars to ensure it is perfectly adapted to meet a growing rabbit's nutritional requirements.

In addition, Beaphar Care+ Junior Rabbit contains antioxidants such as Vitamin E, Omega 3 and 6, green tea extract and spirulina to support the immune system, prebiotics MOS and FOS to support healthy gut flora, and Yucca schidigera extract to reduce the smell of pets’ faeces.

Feeding Guidelines:

When changing your rabbit onto a new food it is important to do this gradually. Over a few days mix some old food in with Beaphar CARE+ Rabbit Junior to avoid causing any intestinal disturbance.

The required amount of Beaphar Care+ is dependent upon the size and weight of your rabbit. The information below is a guide and may need to be adjusted to suit your rabbit’s requirements.

  • Rabbits weighing 0-1kg: Feed 17g of food in the morning and 18g of food in the evening
  • Rabbits weighing 1-2kg: Feed 35g of food in the morning and 35g of food in the evening
  • Rabbits weighing 2-3kg: Feed 52g of food in the morning and 53g of food in the evening
  • Rabbits weighing 3-4kg: Feed 70g of food in the morning and 70g of food in the evening
  • Rabbits weighing 4-5kg: Feed 87g of food in the morning and 88g of food in the evening
  • Rabbits weighing 5-6kg: Feed 105g of food in the morning and 105g of food in the evening

Any uneaten food should be disposed of. Fresh drinking water should always be provided and rabbits should have unlimited access to hay.
