Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary S/O Wet Dog Food 12x410g Loaf

Indications:

  • Bacterial cystitis
  • Dissolution of struvite uroliths
  • Struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis

Key Benefits:

  • Struvite Dissolution - Urinary S/O Canine effectively dissolves struvite uroliths - An acidic urinary pH is unfavourable to the development of bacteria, which are frequently associated with struvite uroliths
  • Urine Dilution - Diluting urine decreases the urinary concentration of struvites and calcium oxalates - The larger urinary volume also ensures regular bladder wash-out
  • Low RSS - Undersaturated urine is an environment where crystals cannot proliferate - Thus the urine is unfavourable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals
  • Low Magnesium - Magnesium is a component of struvite (magnesium ammonium phosphate) uroliths - Reduced level of magnesium, a natural component of struvite crystals

Not Recommended In Cases Of:

  • Pregnancy, lactation, growth
  • Chronic renal failure, metabolic acidosis
  • Heart failure
  • Hypertension
  • Use of urine-acidifying drugs

Ingredients:

Composition: Pork by-products, poultry by-products, maize flour, powder cellulose, corn starch mixture, sunflower oil refined, minerals, pork blood products, fish oil, marigold meal.

Nutritional Additives (per kg)*: Vitamin D3: 190 IU, Iron (3b103): 5 mg, Iodine (3b202): 0.22 mg, Copper (3b405, 3b406): 1.8 mg, Manganese (3b502, 3b503, 3b504): 1.6 mg, Zinc (3b603, 3b605, 3b606): 16 mg - Technological additives: Sodium bisulphate: 0.55g.
