When your cat has urinary health concerns, a tailored and nutritionally balanced urinary health dry cat food can help to ease any discomfort and support good urinary tract and bladder health. ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O dry cat food is specifically formulated with the needs of your adult cat in mind.
This urinary diet for cats is formulated for the nutritional management of cats with lower urinary tract disease and is suitable for cats with:
- Struvite uroliths: dissolution and management of recurrence.
- Calcium oxalate uroliths: management of recurrence.

- Urine dilution - Diluting urine decreases the urinary concentration of struvites and calcium oxalates. The larger urinary volume also ensures regular bladder wash out
- Low RSS - Undersaturated urine is an environment where crystals cannot proliferate and so is unfavourable to the formation of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals
- Reduced level of magnesium, a natural component of struvite crystals
Product not suitable for:
- Pregnancy, lactation, growth
- Chronic renal failure, metabolic acidosis
- Heart disease (when sodium restriction is sought)
- Hypertension
- Use of urine-acidifying drugs
