Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Renal Adult Cat Dry Food
Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Renal - Dry Cat Food
Royal Canin Renal Veterinary Diets for cats are formulated to help support kidney function in cats with Chronic Renal Insufficiency. Each formula in the Royal Canin Renal Support range contains specific nutrients to provide your cat with a complete and balanced diet.
Certain nutrients can help to support cats with Chronic Renal Insufficiency, which is why the diet you choose for your cat is key to supporting their kidney health. ROYAL CANIN® Renal dry cat food is specifically tailored to support adult cats with Chronic Renal Insufficiency.
Suitable for:
- Cats with azotaemic Chronic Kidney Disease with proteinuria (IRIS stage 1 to 4).
- Cats with chronic Kidney Disease (IRIS stage 2 to 4).
- Management of calcium oxalate urolith recurrence in cats with impaired renal function.
- Prevention of recurrence of urolithiasis requiring urine alkalinisation: urate & cystine uroliths.
Key benefits:
- Renal support: When cats' kidneys are not functioning efficiently, that often means that phosphorus cannot effectively be filtered from the bloodstream. ROYAL CANIN® Renal provides a low phosphorus content and a number of high-quality proteins to help support kidney health and function.
- Adapted Energy: Some cats may have a reduced appetite when they experience impaired renal function. To help support your cat if their appetite has recently reduced, ROYAL CANIN® Renal has an adapted energy content to reduce the volume of each meal.
- Aromatic choice: To help stimulate your cat's appetite in cases of food aversion or reduced appetite, ROYAL CANIN® Renal has a specific aromatic profile and loaf-like texture to encourage your cat to eat.
Not Suitable for:
- Growth
- Gestation/Lactation
