Protexin Pro-Fibre Pellets for Rabbits contain high levels of insoluble and soluble fibre, probiotics to help re-populate the gut with beneficial microorganisms and Preplex - a prebiotic to stimulate the growth of the good bacteria.
Rabbits need plenty of fibre in their diet, in fact, it is the most important component of their diet. Insufficient fibre can lead to digestion problems, especially of the hind gut. Rabbits with insufficient fibre in their diet can get loose, soft droppings which may make them prone to flystrike and other conditions of the rear end.
Directions for Use:
You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use. Either sprinkle liberally over normal food or make available ad-lib in a separate container, or as directed by your vet.
