Protexin Veterinary Cystophan Capsules for Cats for Urinary and Bladder Health 

Protexin Veterinary Cystophan Capsules for Cats provide high-level support for feline urinary health and help maintain normal stress levels. N-acetyl D-glucosamine and hyaluronic acid support and preserve the protective lining of the bladder. L-tryptophan is used to make the ‘happy hormone’ serotonin. This unique combination reduces the number of products your cat needs to take.

Key Features:

  • Tasty, artificial chicken-flavoured capsules your cat will love. Capsules can either be given whole or sprinkled onto food, to make supplementing your cat’s diet easy. Simply follow the on-pack guidance to find the dose and schedule that’s right for your pet.
  • Supports a healthy bladder lining. Normal, healthy bladders are lined with glycosaminoglycan (GAG), protecting it from direct exposure to urine, which can activate nerve fibres that make your cat feel uncomfortable. The N-acetyl D-glucosamine and hyaluronic acid in Protexin Veterinary Cystophan Capsules for Cats provide essential building blocks that help maintain this protective layer.
  • Helps your cat make the ‘happy hormone’. Your cat’s state of mind can be affected by many external factors, as well as their overall health. To help maintain normal stress levels,
  • Protexin Veterinary Cystophan Capsules for Cats also contain L-tryptophan, which is used to make the ‘happy hormone’ serotonin.

The capsules can be given whole or opened and the contents sprinkled onto food. Give for as long as considered necessary or as advised by your veterinary surgeon. There are no contra-indications or restrictions on the use of Cystophan.

Initially administer according to the guidelines below for at least two weeks:

  • Cats up to 3kg - 1 capsule daily
  • Cats over 3kg - 2 capsules daily

For maintenance, administer according to the guidelines below:

  • Cats up to 3kg - 1 capsule every other day
  • Cats over 3kg - 1 capsule daily
