The Telegraph’s resident Vet, Peter Wedderburn, named Burns Original his “Best Buy” for dry dog food, and the brand is founded by veterinary surgeon John Burns. John Burns Foundation
In 2022, John Burns had the honour of receiving an MBE for his impact on pet nutrition in Britain, as well as for his charity work in West Wales. The John Burns Foundation has the simple aim of making a difference to the lives of people and companion animals across the UK. The foundation does this through a range of activities, programs and projects, and the recent recognition in the late Queen’s Birthday Honours List was said to be well deserved indeed by local people and charities in the area.
Vet and founder, John Burns MBE, is always thrilled to receive awards and recommendations, especially when it reflects public opinion: “Consumers are being heard loud and clear, letting us hear real opinions from real people!”.
