Q: How do payments work?

There are two options: Option 1 (Phone/Email): Payment is taken by the NI pharmacy team once your order is set up. Option 2 (Online): Payment is taken securely at checkout on the CVS Farm NI website.

Important information for customers in Northern Ireland

Due to new regulations for veterinary medicines, we're unable to supply prescription medication directly from the Animed website to customers in Northern Ireland. Further information regarding these regulatory changes and why they've been introduced can be found on the GOV.UK Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) website.

From the 1st January 2026, you will be able to order your medication for delivery to Northern Ireland using one of the two options below:

1. Email/Call the Team

You can place your order directly with Ballygawley Veterinary Centre by emailing your prescription, contact details and full delivery address to orders@cvsfarmvetsni.co.uk. If you prefer, you can collect your prescription directly from Blackwater Veterinary Centre (part of BVC Farm Vets), Unit 5, Hamilton Business Park, Tamnamore, County Tyrone, BT71 6HW.

If you are uploading more than one prescription, please send them as individual images to avoid any delays with processing your order.

Alternatively, you can call the team on 02887726805 where a member of staff can happily assist you. The team will set up your order on their system, handle all compliance checks, take payment and arrange dispatch of your medication.

Please note: your order will only be dispatched once your prescription is approved.

Saturday: 09:00am - 13:00pm

2. Order Online

Step 1: Visit the CVS Farm NI Website

Step 2: Select your required medicine and add it to your basket. (Please ensure you select the correct quantity, strength and type of medication as shown on your prescription)

Step 3: Upload your prescription at checkout or send it later via email to orders@cvsfarmvetsni.co.uk

Step 4: Checkout and pay

The team will then:

Manually enter your order into their systems.
Carry out compliance checks.
Dispatch your medication once approved.

Can I still shop at Animed?

Yes, you can still shop with us! The new regulations only apply to veterinary medicine and do not affect other non-medicinal pet essentials from us, including food, supplements, and accessories.

Why can’t I order prescription medicines directly from Animed to Northern Ireland?

Due to new regulations we are prevented from sending any medicines (AVM-GSL, NFA-VPS, POM-V & POM-VPS) to Northern Ireland directly from the Animed website.
