Eraquell 18.7mg/g Oral Paste for Horses - Single Syringe

Eraquell Oral Paste for Horses is used for the treatment and control of small redworms, pinworms, large roundworms, threadworms and hairworms.

This syringe is licensed for use in pregnant mares and is ideal for horses in the summer season.

Comes as a single ergonomic syringe for ease of administration and increased compliance.

All horses must be registered as individuals.

Contraindications:

• Do not use in dogs or cats as severe adverse reactions may occur
  
• Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substance

You should carefully read all product labelling and packaging prior to use.

Dosage:

• Eraquell paste is given orally at the recommended dose rate of 200 micrograms per kg of bodyweight as a single dose
• Each syringe division delivers sufficient paste to treat 100kg of bodyweight
• Each syringe will treat 700kg of bodyweight
• The horse's weight should be accurately determined to ensure use of the correct dose of product

Administration:

• Horse weight should be accurately determined for the correct use of the paste
• The animal's mouth should be free of food
• The syringe must be positioned between the front and back teeth and the paste must be placed on the base of the horse’s tongue
• Immediately elevate the head of the horse for a few seconds to ensure deglutition
• Re-treatment should be done according to the epidemiological situation, but not at less than 30 days interval

Shelf Life:

• Shelf-life after first opening of the container: 6 months

Storage:

• Do not store above 30°C
• Store in the original packaging
