Dorwest Milk Thistle Liver Supplement Tablets for Dogs and Cats

Milk Thistle tablets support the liver in several ways, most importantly by scavenging free radicals that are associated with cell damage and transforming them into less harmful compounds.

Milk Thistle is more beneficial when not used in conjunction with any other herbs and these tablets contain the milk thistle fruit in its entirety to offer maximum support.

One of Milk Thistle's major actions is as an antioxidant.

Antioxidants are required to neutralise unstable molecules called 'free radicals' which are produced during metabolic activity - something the liver does a lot of.

A liver under pressure is more vulnerable to the effects of free radicals, at a time when it is likely producing more of them.

Milk Thistle also helps to maintain the stability of cell membranes of liver cells. This structure of the cell is essential to protect it against damage and prevent the infiltration of toxins and infectious agents.

Dorwest Milk Thistle Tablets are sugar coated tablets and suitable for both short and long term use as the condition requires.

Can be used on pets from 8 weeks of age.

Milk Thistle tablets are not recommended for use if your pet is pregnant or lactating.

Useage:

  • Give 1 tablet per 5kgs of bodyweight daily - split into at least two amounts during the day
