Canishield Flea and Tick Collar for Dogs - Beaphar

The Canishield® Dog Flea & Tick Collar from Beaphar is a dog collar containing a veterinary medicine that kills:

  • fleas for up to 16 weeks
  • ticks for up to 6 months and
  • sandflies for up to 5.5 months

The collar contains the active ingredient deltamethrin, which is slowly released from the collar over time, providing long-lasting protection. Once fitted after one week fleas will be killed within 24 hours; ticks and sandflies within 48 hours.

Simply fit and buckle the flexible black collar around your dog's neck. Once fitted the collar can always be adjusted by applying pressure on top of the buckle and then sliding the collar into the correct position Come rain or shine, your dog can explore, play and run happily

Directions for Use:

  • Always fully read the product leaflet and packacking before use.
  • Do not use on cats.
  • Do not use on dogs under 7 weeks of age.
  • Do not use on sick or convalescent animals.
  • Do not use on pregnant or lactating bitches unless directed to by a veterinary surgeon following a benefit/risk assessment.
  • If skin irritation does occur, remove the collar immediately and seek veterinary advice.
  • Never allow any animal to chew the collar.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
  • In case of accidental oral exposure or ingestion, seek medical advice and show the package leaflet or the box to the doctor.
  • Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling the treated collar.
  • Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the collar.
  • Do not allow children to play with the collar or to chew or suck on it.
  • A pet wearing a flea collar should not sleep in bed with people, particularly children.
  • Extremely dangerous to aquatic life. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with product or empty packaging.
