Dogs can pick up worms from many sources including animal faeces, contaminated soil, vegetation, scavenging infected rodents or even consuming infected fleas whist grooming. So it's a good idea to apply regular flea treatment, as well as worming your dog regularly.
Remember to treat your pet for fleas and ticks as well as worms to effectively end the flea and worm lifecycle. See what Beaphar flea and tick treatments we have to offer.
