Beaphar WORMclear Spot-On for Cats

Effective and easy-to-use, Beaphar WORMclear® Spot-On for Cats is a veterinary medicine available without prescription containing praziquantel, that combats tapeworm infestations commonly found in UK cats. Ideal for cats who don't like taking tablets.

Hunting and eating infested prey, or ingesting fleas during grooming can be a common cause of tapeworm infestations; the spot-on is an ideal product to use.

Suitable for cats and kittens weighing more than 1kg.

As fleas can carry tapeworm eggs, it’s important to ensure your cat’s flea treatment is up to date, to reduce the risk of reinfestation from ingesting infected fleas.

Use medicines responsibly. Beaphar WORMclear® Spot-On for Cats contains praziquantel AVM-GSL.

Further information is available from the SPC or email info@uk.beaphar.com

Key Benefits:

  • Kills tapeworms, commonly found in cats living in the UK: Provides targeted treatment for tapeworm infestations
  • Vet strength treatment: Beaphar WORMclear® Spot-On for Cats is a veterinary medicine containing praziquantel, which is available without the need for a prescription
  • Easy-to-use spot-on: Simply part the hair on the back of your cat's neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible and place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze firmly until the tube is empty
  • 2 pipette pack

  • Tapeworm control: Any cats that hunt or scavenge are at risk of tapeworm infestation. Fleas can also carry tapeworm eggs that can be ingested during grooming. So it’s a good idea to apply regular flea treatment to your cat, such as Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On or Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO, as well as worming your cat regularly

Ingredients:

Praziquantel 20mg. Butylhydroxytoluene, N-methylpyrrolidone.

Always read the product leaflet and packaging before use.

Weigh your cat carefully and use the following table to calculate the correct dose. Apply one tube per 2.5kg of bodyweight.

Apply one tube per 2.5kg of bodyweight:

  • Cats weighing 1-2.5kg: 1 tube
  • Cats weighing > 2.5-5kg: 2 tubes
  • Cats weighing > 5kg: 3 tubes

Instructions for Use:

  • Use the easy-peel corners to remove the tube from its blister pack
  • Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist and pull the cap off
  • Turn the cap over and use the other side to break the tube seal by pushing down and twisting the cap
  • Part your cat's fur between the shoulder blades and place the tip of the tube onto the skin
  • Squeeze the tube several times to empty its contents completely and directly onto the skin

Do not allow children to play with your cat, or recently treated animals to groom each other, until the fur is fully dry.
