Beaphar FIPROtec Spot-on Solution for Cats
Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On for Cats is a veterinary medicine, available without prescription, that helps control fleas and ticks.
Containing fipronil, this spot-on treatment kills fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours. Apply monthly for continuous flea protection. Suitable for cats from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 1kg
Used routinely, Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On for Cats can help protect your cat from fleas. However, if your cat already has fleas the following steps will help you get on top of it:
1. Treat all pets in the home with a suitable flea treatment
2. Reapply treatment at the recommended interval, Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On should be repeated every 4 weeks for continuous protection
3. Vacuum floors and soft furnishings and wash pet’s bedding at 60°C regularly
4. Treat the house with a long-lasting household flea spray, such as Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray
5. Worm pets regularly as fleas can carry and transmit tapeworm, check out Beaphar WORMclear® range

Do not use on kittens less than 8 weeks old and/or weighing less than 1kg. Do not use on sick (systemic diseases, fever...) or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits, as adverse reactions and even death could occur. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Ingredients: Fipronil 50mg, Butylhydroxyanisole (E-320), butylhydroxytoluene (E-321), benzyl alcohol (E-1519) and diethylene glycol monoethyl ether.
Instructions:
Always fully read the product leaflet and packaging before use.
Do not remove the pipette from the foil blister until you are ready to use the product.
Weigh your cat Carefully before application to ensure they weigh 1kg or more.
- Use the easy-peel corners to remove the pipette from its blister pack
- Holding the pipette upright, tap the neck section to ensure the contents fall back into the body of the pipette
- Carefully snip off the top of the pipette using scissors
- Part your cat’s fur between the shoulder blades and place the tip of the pipette onto the skin
- Apply half the pipette between the shoulder blades and apply half at the base of the neck, directly onto the skin
Do not allow children to play with your pet until the fur is fully dry.
For continuous protection, reapply every four weeks.
