Apoquel Tablets for Dogs

Apoquel tablets are a Prescription Only Medication indicated for the treatment of pruritus (itching) associated with allergic dermatitis and the clinical manifestations of atopic dermatitis in dogs.

Going straight to the source of the itch, Apoquel tablets will start to relieve itch symptoms within 4 hours and will control the itch within 24 hours returning your dog's quality of life to normal which in the long term is so important to you both.

Available as:

  • Film-coated tablets
  • Chewable tablets

Please select the strength and number of tablets written on your prescription.

Please select the medication size and type (film coat/chewable) exactly as stated on your prescription.

If the formulation is not stated on the prescription, we are only able to dispense the film-coated formulation.

You should use this product as directed by your veterinary surgeon.

Contraindications: 

  • Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients
  • Do not use in dogs less than 12 months of age or less than 3 kg bodyweight
  • Do not use in dogs with evidence of immune suppression

Administration:

  • These tablets can be administered with or without food
  • For oral use

Shelf life & Storage for Film-Coated Tablets:

  • Any remaining half tablets should be discarded after 3 days
  • Store below 25 °C
  • Any remaining half tablet should be placed back in the opened blister and stored in the original cardboard carton, or in the HDPE bottle (for a maximum of 3 days)

Shelf life & Storage for Chewable Tablets:

  • Store in the original package in order to protect from moisture
  • Remaining tablet parts should be stored in the blister and given at the next administration
