Advocate 80 Spot-On for Large Cats is a Prescription Only Medication (POM-V) treatment used for cats suffering from, or at risk from, mixed parasitic infections.

Advocate kills fleas and prevents flea infestation for 4 weeks. Advocate also treats ear mites, gastrointestinal roundworms, hookworms, notoedric mange, lungworm and prevents heartworm. 

Advocate is usually given monthly and can help in the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). 

Advocate 80 Spot-On is applied to the animal by parting the fur on the neck, at the base of the skull, and squeezing the contents of the pipette onto the skin.

Contraindications:

• Do not use in kittens less than 9 weeks old
• Do not use large cat Advocate on ferrets, dogs or canaries

Use as an external spot-on for large cats weighing between 4 kg and 8 kg.

Advocate is applied to the animal by parting the fur on the neck, at the base of the skull, and squeezing the contents of the pipette onto the skin.

Active Ingredients:

• Imidacloprid (80mg)
• Moxidectin (8mg)

Application:

• Remove one pipette from the package
• Part the fur on the animal's neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible
• Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze the pipette firmly several times to empty its contents directly onto the skin
• Application at the base of the skull will minimise the opportunity for the animal to lick the veterinary medicinal product
• Apply only to undamaged skin
