Advantix Spot-on Solution for Dogs
This product can be used for dogs with, or at risk from mixed infestations by fleas, biting lice, ticks, sand flies, mosquitos and stable flies. The veterinary medicinal product is only indicated when used against all the following parasite species is required at the same time.
Fleas - Fleas (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis) on the dog are killed within 24 hours of application and infestation is prevented for 4 weeks. Advantix can also be used to help control FAD (flea allergy dermatitis).
Ticks - Advantix kills ticks and works to prevent tick infestations for up to 4 weeks (4 weeks for Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus, 3 weeks for Dermacentor reticulatus).
Advantix repels sandflies (Phlebotomus papatasi for 2 weeks, Phlebotomus perniciosus for 3 weeks), mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti for 2 weeks, Culex pipiens for 4 weeks) and stable flies (Stomoxys calcitrans).
Each pack contains 4 pipettes of 4ml each.
Contraindications:
- Do not use in puppies less than 7 weeks old or dogs weighing less than 1.5 kg
- Do not use on cats
Sizes Available:
- Extra Large Dogs - over 25kg
- Large Dogs - 10-25kg
- Medium Dogs - 4-10kg
- Small Dogs - up to 4kg.

Read all product instructions carefully and use as directed by your vet.
Administration:
- Use as an external spot-on on dogs
- Apply only to undamaged skin
- To ensure a correct dosage, body weight should be determined as accurately as possible
- With the dog standing still, apply the entire contents of the pipette evenly to four spots on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail
- At each spot, part the hair until the skin is visible
- Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and gently squeeze to expel a portion of the solution on the skin
- Do not apply an excessive amount of solution at any one spot
Special Precautions:
- Care should be taken to avoid the content of the pipette coming into contact with the eyes or mouth of the dog
- This veterinary medicinal product is extremely poisonous to cats - keep treated dogs away from cats after treatment until the application site is dry
- Consult your veterinary surgeon before using this product on sick and debilitated dogs
Shelf Life & Storage:
- Shelf life after first opening of the foil pouch: 2 years
- Shelf life after first opening of the pipette: use immediately
- Do not freeze
- After opening the foil pouch store in a dry place at a temperature not above 30°C
